What are risks of not exercising?
Everyone keeps saying that I NEED to exercise, but they never tell me why I should or what the risks are of me not exercising on a regular basis...

Well, off the top of my head, exercise is important to help strengthen your heart muscle and respiratory system...

The other benefit is to fight the chance of obesity. Also, better joint health.

I agree with the others when you exercise you are more energized and you feel better emotionally. When you don't exercise you feel down in the dumps and it takes a lot more to motivate you. Also I know that when I sit around too much and then try and just get a little cleaning done my heart feels like it has to beat harder and I get dizzier easier.
If you don't exercise keep REALLY active.

The top benefits I can think of are, builds healthy muscles, keeps you healthy, mentally and physically, helps you relax, reduces anxiety, stress, great for your heart, toning, keeps metabolism high, increase energy, slows aging process, and mostly importantly makes you feel confident, when your body looks and feels good! Just walking 1 mile, or for 1 hour 3-4 times a week is a great overall exercise, after that add a few things extra, swim, dance, bike, aerobics, resistance training! Anything that makes you move your body, will make you feel and look better.
