My ps2 is not working it turns on and the lights are normal but shows nothing on the TV I tried a new cable and it worked once then the same problem
What could be wrong with it?

Could be a bad connection inside the ps2, was it dropped recently?

Try another RCA cable and see what happens but I'm guessing you'll have to buy a new one if its not under warranty anymore... its not worth fixing, they are like 129.00 or less now.

I tried a different cable and it worked once then it didn't work again
I called sony and they said they will send me a replacement system for 45 bucks
But I don't want to pay for something I didn't do
I've never dropped it

Instead of paying the 45 bucks just send in the entire system to sony I had the same troube with mine. I paid shipping and handling for fed ex shipping. Put a note on the box explaining the problem they sent me a new system free of charge! Try that instead.
