Hi. I'm new here. I really need help guys. I'm not a geek when it comes to computers. I'm using windows vista ultimate. I'm using Yahoo messenger beta 9.0. the problem occurred just yesterday. I tried using my ym, I was able to log in but I couldn't see all of my contacts. I logged out-logged in several times and it's still the same. I tried using web messenger, I encountered the same problem. Tried restoring my system but the same problem occurred. I tried searching for help online. I tried uninstalling ym but I get this error message: cannot open install.log file. Tried it several times, but it won't work. Tried using ym again, and worst, all I can see is just the box and the menu bar. I tried installing Yahoo messenger 8.1, problem's the same. I even tried installing Yahoo messenger for vista to check if the error has to do compatibility I get this error message: Yahoo messenger for vista did not install successfully, try installing again after restarting your computer. Tried it a dozen times already but it didn't fix the problem. Please help. This is so frustrating. Please help me!
