    Paying taxes on disability
I have a friend who receives SSI disability. I used to receive SSI Survivor Benefits. I had to pay taxes on mine. She says that she doesn't have to pay on hers? Is this true? If so, will either of us receive a stimulus check?

    That is true.

SSI by itself (no other sources of income) is tax-free.

No, that income is NOT stimulus rebate eligible.
