    Want to get pregnant!
:) How many days does it take to ovulate after your period is done?

Eteel, try to figure out when your next period is due to begin and count back 12 to 16 days. This will give you a range of days when you will probably be ovulating. You can increase your chances of getting pregnant if you understand the ovulation process and how it fits into your monthly menstrual cycle. During each menstrual cycle, the endometrial tissue thickens to prepare the uterus for a possible pregnancy.

You can also go to webmd.com and many other sites, and get your own Ovulation calendar, which will give you a pretty good idea as to when you are ovulating, and the signs that you are ovulating.
I am Trying to conceive so so I wish you the best of luck!

An excellent resource is the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. Vist the Ovusoft site; there are thousands of women in various stages of child-bearing, trying to conceive, avoiding, etc You will learn a lot about your cycles and your body; knowledge can only increase your chances of conceiving in a timely manner. :)

    Best of luck,

    Tami
