Hi,

I've had 12 driving lessons now and haven't reversed or done any kind of parking yet. Most of my friends reversed on their 3rd or 4th lesson. I've done roundabouts and junctions and all that other stuff, and well at that, but surely I should be starting manouveres now? I don't like to ask my driving instructor because I don't want to sound impatient but I'm a bit worried that I'm making slower progress than normal.
Does my instructor just do things in a different order?

How many driving lessons do you get?
I would definitely ask before the last two or three lessons.
How does he have you parking when you are done with a lesson.
I would think he would use that time to do the parallel parking.

We all learn at different rates, it cold also be you appear "scared" of the instructor or you are scared when you are with them.

We can't tell you what YOUR instructor is doing and why. Only he knows this, you have to ask him and talk to him.
