How can I warn people about an incompetent gynecologist?

    Try the ama, or bbb

serialmom12 disagrees: this has nothing to do with what I asked

Of course this was just a suggestion, the american medical association, or the better business bureau should be able to help get the word out. The bbb would make a report on the incidents.

What makes you think they are incompetent? If you find a physcian incompetent then the correct process is to report him to your local AMA chapter or state medical licensing board.

You do not try to warn people yourself. That could open you fro a slander/libel suit.

Several issues, first what was the problem, why do you believe this.

Next you got the two best answers there are, so it is obvoius you think there is some magic place.

The AMA is one of the best places to start, alone with the state license board, and then most people actually check BBB before any of the others.

You can sue them for malpractice

Got to spread some around scott, but you are pointing out what I did but with more explanation. You indicated the liabilities that she could be charged with, I did not. Good job scott.

Sorry Dudes... BBB ain't going to do it as well with medical professionals as it does with other businesses. The best bet is the state licensing bureau.

And, as has been said, word of mouth will land you with a slander or lible suit.
