Weird bumps/tough skin on vaginal entrance
Okay, so I'm sure I'm overreacting but I'm very freaked out.

I haven't had sexual intercourse in over three months but I masturbate using a dildo. I recently got a new dildo which is about 1.5 inches thick and I'm a very VERY small person.
When using it the skin around my vagina had to stretch for it to go in and I bled slightly inside and on the exterier skin. The interior bleeding stopped but when I peed and whiped I would have a little blood from that outer skin...
The bleeding has stopped but now I've noticed very tough, almost raised skin in that area that bled. A friend told me it might be scarring, but I'm not sure. I also shave and thought maybe I nicked it but I am pretty sure it has to do with using the new toy.
I'm going to make an appointment with my doctor, but I wanted the advice of other women because I don't want to make go to the doctor for a pointless reason.

I've spent a few days sweating over the computer looking at pictures of genital warts and herpes and they don't look like what I'm experiencing at all.

Also, it doesn't hurt, there is no puss, it's not in a circular shape, and it is the same color as the rest of my vagina...

Again it's on the bottom of my vaginal opening (the skin leading down toward the anus)

I hope very much that it is NOT genital warts... but I just wanted advice if anyone has experienced this...

There is no need for you to worry about wasting a doctors time. If the condition did develop into something serious, the first thing the doctor would say to you is "why didn't you come and see me sooner". Any kind of bleeding will be taken serously by a doctor worth his salt.

    Book in today.

It is most likely scarring from using the dildo. I know that the same thing happened to me when I lost my virginity... and again when I first started sleeping with my now husband. (he was considerably larger then most I had been with!) If you tore your vagina... even slightly this could be the cause of everything. If you haven't been sexually active in over 3 months and you know that your previous partners are clean... then that would be what I think. Also... please be sure and wash your toys after EACH use. Warm water and soap should be fine but be sure and rinse it well. A trip to your doctor is never a bad idea.
