    My surgery aptpt.
If my dr. makes me an appointment to the Surgeon, does that mean I am more than likely going to be scheduled for surgery?

It all depends. Each circumstance is different. Sometimes a referral is made to rule out surgery, other times the referral is made to schedule the surgery.

Your question is very vague, due to that I can't really give a better answer. If you would like to elaborate I would love to try and help better.

Again, it all depends on where the aneurysm is. They can happen anywhere in the body. It also depends on the size of the aneurysm.

There are many precipitating factors, and without knowing all of the pertinent info, I really can't help much via the internet.

It means that your doctor believes you may need it, so he is sending you to a specialist to determine if you need it or not.

That is what the specialist will review and see.

So at this point, it sounds like your doctor things so, but the specialist may decide that is not the proper thing to do
