I had my second baby 12 weeks ago and I just got my period back yesterday. It is very, very heavy to me. I am changing my pad every 30 - 45 minutes and it usually soaked. I also have mild cramping. Is is normal?

When I had my baby I changed my pad every 10-15 minutes, and it was soaked. I called my obgyn, and he said for the first period after childbirth that is normal... I guess everyone is different, but I did the same thing. I also had the cramping you asked about

Call your doctor ASAP. If you are changing your pad more than once an hour it is cause for concern. You could be having delayed post partum hemorrhage.
