I have constant pain in my knees which severely limits my walking. I have been told by my doctor that my knees are probably bone on bone but there is no MRI that is big enough for me to fit in to confirm it. I take about 4 different types of pain pills which don't help too much. I need to know what type of exercises a person of my size can do at home. I am going to start the Atkins diet (meat and vegetables no carbs) which I have had success with in the past but ultimately got away from. I know part of my problem is the fried foods and potato chips, not enough vegetables and leafy greens along with soda. I really want to commit myself to this diet and exercise program but I don't know what type of exercises that might help a person of my size since things like situps, push ups and jumping jacks and running or jogging are out of the question.
Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
