Anyone heard of electrolisis in coolant of dodge v10 radiators, and how to trouble shoot?

Try attaching grounding straps to the radiator.

Excellent advise! Few people know of this trick.

Redundant grounds can also be connected to the alternator case to the engind and from the engine to the frame and from the frame to the sheetmetal underhood. This will reduce electolysis and can also reduce charging system whine from entering your audio system.

Troubleshooting the small amounts of current that are present with electrolysis is very difficult. Mostly, it's presence is discovered by symptom: coolant leaking from the radiator core and/or heater core, frequently failing water pumps, and things like that.
The primary cause for electrolysis is a faulty charging: the A/C that is generated isn't being fully dealt with. And batteries don't like the taste of A/C, so once you've become aware that you are having a problem, you need to track it down before you find other symptoms appearing.

By runnig ground straps you draw currant to the radiator expediting the defect. In fact gm advised this then 3 months later said not to.
There are a lot of potential problems here but I have a patent pending that I use simple logic and have developed a product that will soon be on the market in radiators

Please see my post below ground straps will intensify elec. Flow to the ground and expedite defect. I don't know all you know on cars etc maybe, but this I'm sure of

Frankanator is right. Do NOT connect extra ground straps to the radiator. I've also seen those TSBs from the manufacturers warning not to do this.

Here's how to check for electrolysis in your cooling system
Test Coolant for Electroylsis
