    What color coolant
I have a 2001 dodge ram 2500 8.0liter v10, what color antifreeze should I be using? It has 92,000 miles on it.

I don't know anything about colors of coolants but one thing
I think the 50/50 is a waste of money.

The color honestly doesn't really matter, buy what ever you want, but make sure you mix it with water. Half water half antifreeze, I worked on cars for three years, and the color seriously doesn't really matter. Companies add things in it, and print things on the bottle to make you think you r getting more for your money, and so on...

Use a 50/50 mixture of distilled water and Zerex G-05, which is Chrysler approved. Using the correct antifreeze is very important in modern-day vehicles. The wrong antifreeze can attack gaskets, cause severe corrosion, and lead to overheating problems (including warped heads). Flush the system with distilled water first.

The easiest answer to tell you is to use what is suggested in your service manual or that the dealer recommends. With it being a 2001, you will probably be suggested to use the Orange colored antifreeze.
