    Breast Discharge
I am sixteen years old and on Monday I noticed some discharge coming from my left breast. I went to the doctor that day and he sent me to get a pregnancy test and some blood test for hormones. I have never had sex, but end of January early February, I had anal sex with the use of a condom. I had one period since then, and I am one or two days late for the one I am supposed to have this month. I was wondering if I could be pregnant. I am freaking out here, because it would not be a good thing. Please help, I need advice from someone.

    Thank you

I wouldn't assume you are pregnant, but there is, by some off chance, the ability for semen to leak from around the condom and make its way to the vulva and cause pregnancy, but I very much doubt that has happened. Have you received back the tests from the doctor yet? If the results are not there yet, you may calm your nerves by taking a HPT, perhaps, but I doubt you are pregnant, however, obviously I was not there and can't say for sure whether there was fluid anywhere or anything like that, so it's hard to say for positive, but anal sex does not pose a pregnancy risk unless there was some semen that got to the vagina/vulva, etc. from the outside, as the intestinal tract is enclosed within itself, not connected to the reproductive tract.

No I have yet to receive the results from my doctor.
I went to a clinic because my doctor was on vacation and the results were sent to him, so I won't get them till next week.
Could the reason be breast cancer? That was what the doctor was saying ( I was also told to get a mamogram, but I called and they said I'm too little to get one)
This is really scary because it never happened to me before..

    Thank you! :)

I doubt that the discharge was cancer. Perhaps an infection? It's hard to say for sure. Have you given yourself breast exams? You would probably be able to feel a lump if there was a cancer advanced enough to cause symptoms like that. Unfortunately, until you get your results and perhaps a biopsy it's not going to be safe to say anything for positive. You should ask your doctor for a referral to a specialist perhaps, or for a referral to get a mammogram. Although you are 16 and that is quite young, perhaps a mammogram would be a good idea since you are having these symptoms.

Either way, I hope it is nothing serious and you get well soon!

I've tried. I never really learned. I don't know what to feel and what not to feel. I know it sounds funny. But I never did them before, so I don't know if it felt different then before. But as long as its not like cancer or pregnancy.
