Are there sample questions you can down load for NATE certification?

Go to the nate web site and look for sample questions for the section that you are interested in... such as heating / gas section... etc. you can print them out or download them. Don't forget the "core" questions which is the general knowledge section, which you MUST pass to get a speciality section

Don't rely on the sample questions but they are good for a quick check of what you do know. Study your book they bump it up a few notches on the test( to see if your worth your weight in salt). If you pass the specialty and not the core test, you have to do it all again.

You can also go to your local book store and get the " Dewalt HVAC Technician Certification Exam Guide," which has tons of sample questions to test yourself, and the beginning chapters tell you how the whole testing takes place etc. Also the book covers topics for the core and 5 specialty sections... really a good book.
