Hi everybody!

I think my 14 month old pit bull has the flu. I don't know if dogs actually have it but she has all the symptoms of the human flu: sneezes all the time, difficulty breathing, mucus, lethargy, loss of appetite, some fever and today she threw up. My husband says that I need to relax, that Im always taking the dog to the vet for stupid reasons and that she just got a flu. Is there any home remedy to make her feel a little better?

I don't know of any. I will tell you this, dogs aren't people, if she is throwing up etc. then you need to take her to the vet. Better safe than sorry I always say.

Definitely time to go to the vet. It sounds to me like there is an infection somewhere and the difficulty breathing worries me. I would make an appointment right away.
