Me and my girlfriend have been dating for about 2 years and we just moved to Denver from Hawaii. A couple of months after we got here we started changing and now she has said that she dosen't want to be in a relationship anymore, she just want's to have her life back and possibly to start dating other people.
Why did this happen and is it worth the time and energy to put into this situation to try to resolve this. I love her and probably always will so that's why its so hard to deal with this, I don't want to split up and would like to continue my relationship with her

I'm pretty sure no one can tell you to leave her alone since we don't really know how the relationship is. Sounds like she is losing interest . Do you ever take her out? Do you show her affection? And how long have you two been together? Maybe she just got a wild hair. But one thing that hurts relationships the most is if you bring this subject up a lot. I don't think you should talk about splitting up for it only makes the relationship harder. Has she said it more then once? Sorry we just need to know a little more about the situation.

Jrharp20 your situation is a harsh one. You were in a relationship for two years and now this. There is more to this story; I understand that you may not want to go into it. But without details it's difficult to determine what went wrong in this relationship.

The only thing you can do now is accept break up and give her space. At this point you can regroup and center yourself. The relationship is ending on good terms which means if the circumstances change there is still a possible that you two get back together.
