    Jewelry markings
I recently purchase a bracelet. It is silver with a marking on the inside, it is a diamond shape with an "F" in the center. Does anyone know what this means?

    Thanks

Diamond with an F could mean Flawless I think.
Some things diamonds are classified by are cut, clarity, carat weight and certification.

They weren't talking about the "diamond" There is no diamond. It's a silver bracelet.

<F> is probably an artist's stamp, but I'm sorry I can't tell you who.

Oh didn't catch the word shape. No wonder I could find it in the cut, clarity, carat weight and certification.
F is more than likely the hallmark -the artist of the piece

Are you sure there is not another letter with it?

I also have a piece of jewelry (14k gold emerald and diamond ring) that has that same marking, an F outlined in a diamond. Wasn't able to find what it stands for.
