I know what you're going through -- if it is like the idler that hooks on motor mount

I cussed and became very frustrated -- this is not an easy job

Since you have given no BRAND or MODEL # not sure what to tell you??

It is a Frigidaire; Model # FDGB23RGS1

Maybe I am routing the belt wrong... Yes the idler wheel hooks on the motor mount..
