Will the feeling of upsetness and dissapointment ever go away?
    Hi all,

Haven't posted here for a while now. My ex broke up with me a little bit over a year ago. We haven't spoken or contacted each other for a year now. I'm positive that I'm over him, and vice versa. Yesterday I was looking at his profile on Facebook, and out of no where I started feeling sad

I don't know how to describe it, but I just sort of felt like too bad it didn't work out, as if I still want to get to know him more. And I don't know I just wish that we could still hang out and be normal around each other.

The pain will go away however you can not invite the pain in. The relationship is over so get out there and start dating again..

You have to let go of the past and only when you do that you can look at the future and the future is beautiful!!

Oh, don't get me wrong I don't feel any pain anymore. I think I'm either misses him as a friend, or I am just a very possessive person and don't like to lose anything lol.

But thanks for your comments anyway :)

You can't control your feelings. So, they will rear their old ugly heads anytime you let your guard down.

The best defense is a good offense, meaning ACTIVELY filling your mind with positive current events. Developing new relationships, boyfriends, etc should take up enough of your mental energies that the old feelings can't stir up too often.

Consider NOT doing the things you used to do with the old flame, too, such as frequenting the hangouts you had together, including internet hangouts. Get your butt off his Facebook page. Silly, silly goose!

I think staying off his Facebook, would go a long way, in you not reopening old wounds. I know, you know that.
