I was about 2 weeks late to start my period, I started 2 days ago, but the color is brown.. its not a heavy period and even the fresh blood is brown not red like normal. I am just curious what could be wrong. When I didn't get my period for 2 weeks I thought I might be pregnant but I got a negative home pregnancy test. My husband and I are not trying, but the only protection we use is the pull out method... no birth control or anything. I am just really wondering what could be wrong with me and why am I having a brown period? Could it be pregnancy? Could it be implantation bleeding? Or is it just a brown period?

It may be a pregnanacy .get yourself checked to a gynaecologist. Having brown period is a symptom of pregnancy is the blood flow is light.u also mentioned that the period was late .so the chances of pregnancy are nore.The pull out method is nt safe as a little drop of sperm can stay in vagina for several days.which makes a woman perg.Good luck!
