Hey I'm 13 and started my period about 3 months ago. The day I got it I took a bath and I took it after my bro did and the next day I got a lighter period. I was a little scared so I was going to wait until I got my period again to tell my mom but I never got it again. Its been 3 months since I got my period and I'm scared and I don't know what's up. Can someone please tell me what's wrong with me. Is their anyway you can be a virgin but got pregnant somehow if there was sperm still left in the bathtub? Please help :(:confused:

I suppose it's theoretically possible for sperm to survive in that environment... but extraordinarily unlikely. :S And even if it did, the chances of it getting inside you are, well, pretty much nil. It's also unlikely that you could get pregnant during your period, especially your first one. Your ability to conceive takes a while to develop.
I don't think you're pregnant sweetie.
Often when your period first starts it's very irregular, and can jump around a lot and last for varying amounts of time. It will take a while for your periods to be regular and cyclical. Talk to your mother about it and get her to explain a bit more about your period.
Some other factors that could stop you getting your period are your weight and diet. If you're underweight or if you have low iron in your blood, you might stop menstruating. But you're so young that it's probably just your body adjusting slowly, and will take a bit of time getting into the rhythm.

Thank you. You I'm not underweight or anything. I am also very athletic and in two sports right now. Again thank you for your advice.

Sweetie, there is no way that you can get pregnant from sperm in a bathtub. Won't happen, no way. So you can lay that fear aside, okay? ;)

Now, since that was your first period, it can take a few years for some girls to get their periods every month. You may be 14, 15, or 16 before you have periods every month.

Also, you say you are athletic. Many athletic girls don't get their periods, especially girls who run track. So, that might be why you aren't getting a period also.
