Quick question... Can I vent a toilet to a 2" vent about 12" away that goes staight up and out the roof?

If yoiu're asking if you may vent the toilet with 2" the answer's yes.
If yoiu're asking if you may discharge the toilet into a 2" drain line and then use it as a vent the answer's no.
The minimum size for a toilet drain line is 3". Good luck, Tom

I'm just curious. Are you posting this because of a private message that you received from joepappalardo? Yes I am. I receive a lot of questions by PM.
