    Melting Granite.
    Hi! My name is DJ, and my question is: What is the "hardest granite" it's name, the easiest to obtain, and how do I melt it?

    I don't think there is a defined 'hardest' granite. I'm sure there is a patch somewhere that is slightly harder than the rest but I don't know if anyone has ever tested it! As for the easiest to obtain- this depends where you live.

    As for melting-
    These guys Fusion Kinetics, Water Pressure, Water Diffusion and Electrical Conductivity in Melting Rock, Interrelated -- ARZI 19 (1): 153 -- Journal of Petrology
    Chopped it up into 1 cm cubes then,
