We need to know the model of your tractor and which of the belts needs to be installed. Most mower decks have a decal on them somehwre that shows the deck belt. Can you give us the brand and model, if its sears just go to Parts & Accessories | Shop & Find Lawn & Garden, Appliance Parts at Sears Parts Direct | SearsPartsDirect.com from Sears and get a diagram from the manual.

Not sure, but I think the belt will run across the rear of the deck, around the front of the two outer pulleys, to the inside of the two center pulleys to the pto pulley on the engine. (I think).

The deck belt forms a letter T The bottom of the T is the drive pulley (PTO) on the engine. The ends of each arm are the blade pulleys (two blade example) and the inside corners or armpits are idler/tensioner pulleys. Out by the blade pulleys you will likely see some keeper pins that try to keep the blet from jumping off the pulley and you can pry past them.
