Burning pain on left hand side
I have been having these sharp burning pains on my left hand side, and today it got so bad I had to run home. Once the pain starts my left side above my leg goes numb, I have a doctors appointment on Thursday should I go in sooner? Is something serious?

Have you injured yourself lately? Have you been doing any heavy lifting? Any other symptoms, headache, sweating, pale skin, indigestion?

No I haven't hurt myself, as well I haven't done any lifting. I am actually off work because of problems I have had in the past with this pregnancy. I don't really have any other symptoms that I know of, I mean I have headaches but I always thought that was because I was pregnant. Thank's for the quick response.

How far along are you with the pregnancy? Could it be a pinched nerve caused by the babys' position?

Hopefully J_9 will appear online sometime soon. She's the expert when it comes to health/medical issues.

I have a burning pain on the left hand side of my chest, underarm and shoulder. Nousea and tending to vomit. The Doctor gave me atenolol(25mg daily) to treate the mild hypertenstion and this problem began after the treatment. I have told him about the problem and he told me to quit the medicine but the pain persists. What would be the possible reason for such tipe of pain and please give me an advice to relive from such sharp pain.
