I have little mechanical knowledge & need to get both the distributor & carb for a 1981 (C3) L81 Corvette. I would like to spend as little as possible to replace these items that were stolen off my car. Thanks

Obtaining and installing the distributor is going to be fairly straight forward for that engine.

The carb, not so much. There were several available for yours and without knowing which part number was originally installed, an O.E. carb will be difficult to pinpoint. Even the likelihood of an aftermarket speed shop being able to help will prove tough. Ask around and look online for Vette clubs to see if there may be someone who's more familiar with that car.
I can almost assure you, there is a gearhead somewhere that has what you need.

Remember an 81 is a 3 CCC system. You better find someone knowledgeable about setting this up. Your Distributor has a EST 4 wire and the carb has plug ins for M/C TPS etc.
