You will have to take out the trim that surrounds the section where your controls are they should just pull away because they are held in by like push pins of some sort. After you do this you should see bolts that hold the unit in place. Take out those bolts and the unit should come out. Becareful there are a lot of wires and stuff connected back there. You should find the bulb farely easy. But contact an auto parts store first to see if the bulb is built in or if you can replace it.
I have a 1995 Vienta which has a Camry body.
To replace the bulbs in the instrument panel I firstly removed the two visible screws above the speedo and tachometer.
I then clicked off the plastic surrounding the radio. This was easily done with a small flat screwdriver. This gave access to the other two screws holding the main plastic cover in place.
The 4 screws holding the air cond control panel are now visible and can be removed so that the air cond unit can be slid forward a little to access the two bulbs behind at the top.
To remove the bulb holders turn half turn anticlockwise. The bulbs themselves are a push fit into the holders.
Replace bulbs and test before reassembling panels! Done. Yipee!
