Hi Everyone where do I start Im soon to be 31 I've been diagnosed with Hypothryoidism, between the shot and dx had gained a lot of weight. I was on the Depo previously for a year in which I had 2 periods after I first received the shot got the shot for a year, when I stopped the first time it took 8mths before I started my periods again. Been on medication for the hypothryroidism and have dropped some weight being off the shot BUt, I just now started Depo again after having my period again for 3mths.. I ended my period on Feb 03, 08 had pregnancy test done on 3/8/08 said negative had sex twice no protection on feb 9 and 10th received the shot on the Feb 11, 08 as of right now almost 2 weeks late of period doctor stating usually you have a period or two before starting back on depo is it possible those two days before the shot got pregnant?? Does anyone know? Been having cravings but no signs of PMS. Thanks Jen

The depo shot is very odd, it affects everyone differently. If you are worried tell your doctor to give you a blood test. It is possible to conseive on the shot, but very rare. A blood test is what I recommend.
