I am trying to replace 10 wire thermostat with 5 wire thermostat. Do not know how to connect

What kind of system do you have?

What is the GE thermostat model number?

Give as much info as you can with the old thermostat and the new and if you have gas, electric, heat pump or dual fuel.

I am not sure. The thermostat is the same brand as the system, probably 40 years old

What is the system. Gas,oil,electric heat,heatpump??

We need the model of the thermostat.
