    Eviction and Termination of Lease
    If a person is evicted from their home, does that terminate the lease that is signed?

    If you get evicted, it's because you broke the lease to begin with.

    It's terminates the lease relationship... but not the tenants obligation to complete the lease.

    This is not correct - you can be evicted for a variety of reasons and in NYS I believe that does NOT break the lease BUT the landlord has to find a new tenant as quickly as possible.
