Excess licking on belly leading to loss of hair
I have a 6 year old spayed cat that every spring and fall loses hair off her belly and back legs. I had her to the vet and he said at that time it was because I had a new cat in the house. This was about 2 years ago and she still loses the hair. Could it be hormonal problems and what can I do for her. She does a lot of licking as if the area is very itchy.

I have a 11 year old male cat that started this 2 springs ago. I noticed the other day he is starting his ritual of licking. I think it is the winter coat he is trying to remove. This year I am going to get a head start with the kong brush and see if I can head it his obsession off. I know he does not have fleas and he has no sign of inflamed skin.
