I have been offered a lump sum relocation package or it can also be a lump sum bonus package. I live in FL and will by moving to NYC. What would be the best offer to take with the least in taxes?

I don't think there's any difference. Both are taxable. So if both are for the same amount of money, it's a wash. I am assuming here that the relocation package is a lump sum payment to you, and not reimbursement for expenses you actually incur in the move.
