When I am trying to view the hidden files through folder options. In folder options even though I selected show hidden files when I come out of the folder options by applying and OK defaultly don't show hidden files is selected. I scanned my system with antivirus but I am unable to find any virus. I tried regsvr32 /i shell32.dll in run command but it doesn't working.. any one can help me...
I am using windows xp sp2 os...

There is another check box
Hide Protected Operating System Files (Recommended)

You can uncheck this to see if it will reveal other hidden files.

I also uncheck that option Hide Protected Operating System Files (Recommended)
But it is not taking it is checked again even after I uncheck that...

Did you click Apply before closing the window?

I click apply and after I click OK..
