Where to include 1042-S on return?
Last year I was on F1- F1 (OPT) and my employer deducted Social Security and Medicare Taxes. I filed 843 and got a refund. Last month I received a 1042-S form with income code 01 and a statement attached with that stating the income to be included as well as a credit to be claimed on my 2007 return (basically the interest I earned on that is taxable). This year I am filing a dual status since I was on OPT for one half of the year and then on an H-1. My question is where do I include the interest and tax from the 1042-S?
It has to be on the dual return income statement (1040NR) right ? Should I include the interest earned on Line 9a (taxable interest) and the tax withheld on that amount on line 59? If so do I carry both these amounts to lines 8a and 64 on 1040R as well? Please help

To properly answer the queston, I would need to SEE the Form 1042-S, and this is probably a moot point because the tax filing date has passed.
