    Windows error
I'm getting an RTL error box when I try to re-install my printer it's a hp photo smart p1000 I know its an old printer, but it still prints great. I keep getting errors that tell me it won't print when I tell it to print. It'll give me 2 of the RTL errors that are exactly the same then it will start printing. The error reads. Unable to start driver for HPHipm90.exe(JPHipm09.exe) any help in this matter would certainly be apprecaited... Thanks

    Have you changed operating systems?

Sounds like you lost the driver. Try to go to HP web site and download the driver again.

If you get the message that you already have the driver, do you want to replace it, answer yes as there could be an updated version that will work.

Only other option would be to do a system restore back to a date when it was working OK, or perhaps a more drastic option would be to do a system recovery. This one will require you to back up anything you want to save as it will re set the computer to exactly how it was when it came out of the box brand new.

    Good luck with it!

Yes, I did do that, I tried to reinstall the driver, and it did what you said, so I did what you said.. lol... and it did what you said, so my next thing is to do the recovery, I was doing what I could to avoid that at all cost... it was a friend of mine's computer. He called me and said he was having problems with his computer. He had 3 antiviruses, one being the XP Antivirus. And it seems that XP antivirus is a virus.. I got him down to one antivirus, he is still having slowdown issues, along with printer issues he has AOL, has never done updates nor has he ever done any updates. So it seems that the recovery is inevitable thanks for the help..
