I know I'm only in 7th grade, but I feel like I'm in love with my boyfriend. I mean, I know I'm not, because I can't rush something like that.

Anyway, he's been kissing me on the cheek, which I'm totally fine with... except for one thing:

He won't hold my hand! I've talked to him, and so have all of my friends and his as well.
I don't want to rush our relationship... I'm OK with him kissing me on the cheek, but I'd rather we complete the steps before that... like HOLDING HANDS!

WHAT SHOULD I DO??

Okay well why don't u grab his hand if he jerks away and doesn't take your hand that would not be too good but if you don't try you may NEVER hold hands

When does he kiss you on the cheek? What I mean by this is, does he kiss you at school in front of friends or at home when it's just the two of you hanging out?

If it's the latter, he could have trouble with public affection. If this is the case and you really do like him, then you'll give him the time to get over it. Don't tell your friends about as it will make him more uncomfortable and when he does start to hold your hand you won't know whether it's because he genuinely wants to hold your hand or because your friends pressured him, you know what I mean?

What did he say when you asked him why he doesn't hold your hand, but kisses you?

Well, I'm only in 7th grade, so we can't be at a house kissing... So at school. Like when we are walking to 7th period... We split directions and we hug and he gives me a kiss.

Trust me, he has NO problem with public affection, I ca ntell you that much. And, I've already told him that almost every little thing that goeson between us will be shared with my 2 BFFL's... and he will have to deal. He said the same thing, but with his twin brother and his best friend.

He said that he thinks it's stupid to hold a girls' hand. I'm not exactly sure how it's stupid... but that is what he says...

Well, thanks for all of the advie from all of you, but this isn't an issue anymore. He currently broke up with me by Text Message... All I've to say is that I'm glad we didn't go any further than we did in our relationship.
