    Toilet sound of driping water
A 6 month old new low flush toilet now has a dripping sound after flushing and bowl filled.
If I move the ball float it stops. There is a red screw and a brass one on the arm of the float. Should they be tightened? - Can I damage the mechanism by tighting them? My husband is incapacitated so I am now having to become the fixer around home. Any advise I would appreciate.

How high up does the water line come compared to the white overflow tube? Usually there is a "water line" label on the tank or the tube, water should be about 1" below the top of the tube. There is a small refill tube going into the top of the overflow tube. When the float shuts off pull that tube out and watch to see if that's your drip. Come back please
