Y did I almost pass out at work?
Ok, here is the situation. I work in a meat room, and I was origionally scheduled 4 hours today, but they called me in at like, 6:30am. And I only had about an hour of sleep. So, when I got there, I was assigned to start wrapping the meat an everything in the shrink wrap I guess its called. I was fine for like, the first five hours or so, but after that, my body started to slow down, but I didn't want to get yelled at for moving too slow, so I forced myself to go faster, then my back started hurting about another hour later, and then I started getting light headed, then about half an hour later, I was so light headed, my body I guess forced me to just go limp I guess, and I could barely stand, I had to prop myself up against a table, and it felt like some one was squeezing my brain with a vice or something, and everything started going blurry, and I asked my boss if there was someone else that would be able to help him out, and he said "nope, just you, get back to wrappin", so, it took almost every ounce of strength I had just to get going again, and get moving at the speed that was acceptable to him.

My main question isn't about my boss wanting me to go fast, but why I was so close to passing out, anyone have any ideas?

    For starters:

    1.Only an hour of sleep.
    2. When was the last time you had eaten anything?
Not eating will make you weak and light headed.

Let me see at 6:30 am why did you only have a hour of sleep ?

Why did you not have almost a full nght of slieep ?

But lack of sleep, and my guessing not proper meals added in to it.

Lack of sleep and possible lack of proper nutrition will do this to anyone.

Well, only an hour of sleep, cause my original schedule was for at noon, and I was up talking to a girl, (yea typical guy). As for the eating, I had breakfast before I went to work

You had breakfast, but was it a proper breakfast? How is your nutrition? Do you eat healthy or junk food?

My guess is it's that you only got one hour of sleep.

It is good to be on a regular sleep schedule they say your body doesn't make up for lost sleep or irregular sleep habits as easy as you think it does
    And a regular eating schedule.
When you work hard it is important to even try and eat a small healthy snack throughout the day to keep your strength up.

What all are you doing to try and lose weight?
    Eating too little?
    Eating the wrong things?
    Diet pills?
They could have contributed to how you felt too.

Bowl of cheerios is not a breakfeast it is a start of a breakfeast.
And during the day you would have had a lunch.

But sounds like you need to not be "guy" but become a responsible man and adult and get proper sleep and a proper diet.

Yeah some fruit with the cheerios and a little something else
And five hours of hard work and feeling like that if you didn't have lunch yeah you would get weaker.
It can be easy to go without eating for five hours if you are feeling good but five hours feeling the way you felt then NO.
