Unicoupler Uncouples/Leaks
Many thanks to Tom and Fr. Chuck for responding to my question about hooking up a portable washer to a sink that also has a sprayer hose, by suggesting that no problem exists in that regard. That is great news!
However, I have another problem. I followed instructions that came with the tap adaptor and unicoupler exactly, and attached the washer-dryer's hose. When I turned on the tap to check for leaks as instructed, there was a leak that seemed to be coming from the unicoupler. THEN: the unicoupler uncoupled! I turned off the water, recoupled, and turned on the water again at a lower pressure. The leaking increased. So here I am again with having spent $1,500 on a machine I cannot use.
Maybe they sent me a defective unicoupler? Maybe I need to buy some Teflon tape to prevent leaks from the unicoupler? Any advice you can provide would be a big help.
