    House Bound Bugs
I have a questions about a bug I have been finding in my house since last summer - It's a greyish brown bug with a yellowish belly - They tend to hang on the backside of curtains and they have a very pungent odor to them - I have never seen them before - I live in New Jersey and they also have wings and can fly but I would not call them real flyers - It is driving me crazy - I would appreciate any ideas anyone might have

    Thanks Nancy T.

Yes, if you squash one of them they really stink. We have them here in Ohio as well in the late summer, early fall. You will probably find more of them inside your home if you look as they like to hide inside houses when the weather gets colder and then emerge when the weather gets warmer. They are not true ladybugs though as real ladybugs don't stink and look a little bit differently and are not colored the same on their backs.
