Switching from hidden to exposed ductwork
    Hello,

I live in Washington DC with my AC duct work(radiators for heat) currently hidden behind bulkheads. I am interested in using the brick veneer on the walls where the ductwork is located and was wondering if it is a difficult process to switch to exposed ductwork which will allow the brick go up to the ceiling. I have 10ft ceilings and I really like the industrial look of the exposed ductwork. Thank You.

Sure it can be done BUT the extended duct might not work as well since you you are possibly adding to the length of the pipe. Best to consult a HVAC engineer or have a Manual D done for your project unless you do not care how well it works.
