    Getting rid of corns
I have massive corns on every one of my toes where I have not looked after my feet over the past years. It is mainly where I have squeezed into smaller shoes, being conscious of my size 7 feet. I am really embarrassed of the terrible corns and hate going barefoot in my pe lessons:( could you please suggest anything?

    Thank you.. :)

You can get rid of the corns by soaking your feet with warm, soapy water, and then use a pumice stone to remove dead skin every other day. Then apply salicylic acid to the effected areas to help clear up the corns. Another option is to use an over-the-counter corn remover treatment. To prevent them from occurring again, wear properly fitted shoes. Try to avoid wearing shoes that are too tight.

SHAHRAZAD, you can purchase salicylic acid products from a pharmacy in the skin care aisle.

Thanks pretty lady, so how do I use salicylic acid on the corn, dissolve it in water and soak my feet in it, I wonder if I can do the same to exfoliate my body

This is what I do for corns and warts

Get a clove of garlic, mash into small pieces, add a drop of olive oil and a small pinch of sea salt. Put a dab of it on the top of the corn and cover with band-Aid. Keep repeating two or three times a day. In 2-3 days pull the band-Aid off – in most cases the corn will come off.

For best results, wash the affected area and dry it thoroughly. Then apply salicylic acid to affected area once or two times daily. Remember that corns may take a few weeks to clear up.

I do not recommend using salicylic acid on your whole body. Use an alpha hydroxy lotion or a body scrub to exfoliate the dead skin cells from your body instead.
