    Alternative Transportation
I recently was arrested for OWI 2nd offense in the state of Iowa. While I am fighting the charge, my refusal to submit to Breathalyzer will probably cost me my license for 2 years.
Because I am planning for the worse about not having a car my mind has begun thinking about creative / alternative options to transport myself around. The following crafts have come to mind. Small personal helicopter, Hovercraft, car like bicycle, ATV, golf cart NEV. Boat etc.

My question is this: Can I operate a small helicopter, an autogyro, a hovercraft etc. without need for a license or while my drivers license is in a state of suspension?

Hovercrft would not be allowed on most roads, personal helicopter, issues of FFA rules on landing in various places
Most of the smaller car like bikes are still licensed vechiles. ATV and golf carts are normally banned by state laws and/or city laws from use on roads
I have seen some mopeds that fall into the cracks.

Helicopters unless it is of the experimenatal range require their own license. But no drivers license, you still have to follow proper FFA rules of flight
