I colored my hair at home a medium ash brown. For some reason my hair turned out BLACK. What can I do to lighten it up besides keep washing it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Nay :confused:

If your current hair color is very dark or black, you will need to use a hair lightening product in order to lift the color a few shades lighter. You can use a 30-volume peroxide developer with your desired hair color in equal parts to achieve results. You will find hair coloring products and separate developers at a beauty supply store.
