What kind of lighting fixtures can I use in a drop ceiling?
I'm finishing my basement and one side has to have a drop ceiling and I'm not sure what kind of lighting fixtures are available. It will be a bar and gaming area and I wanted to have some pendant lights over the bar counter. I'll have three main lights centered in the room, 2 wall sconce lights, the pendants over the bar and some under cabinet lighting. What kind of fixture can I use for the 3 main lights and the pendants considering the drop ceiling?

Use whatever you like. Not seeing the room it is VERY hard to suggest an actual fixture.
You DO need a special bar to span the T-grid to mount the box to.

Also, there are recessed fixtures, like Halo, that have special bars standard that will clip right to a drop ceiling grid.
