I worked with a firm in NC while on OPT from May 2006 - May 2007. Then I left the company, returned to India and joined another firm in October 2007 on an H1B and worked for them until December end, 2007. I paid SSN/Medicae/FICA on the pay stubs from October 2007 onwards while I was on an H1B visa. However, I did not pay SSN/FICA through the term I was on my OPT. FYI: I entered the US in August 2002 as an F1.
Should I be filing 1040 NR Alien form or 1040 Resident form?
