    Heated flooring
I am installing an electric heated flooring in my bathroom. On HGTV I noticed someone put a water proof membrane over their heated floor before they set the cement. Have you heard of this product?

I have not but new products for in the floor heating are coming out every day.

Usually nothing is placed over the electric in floor heating because you want it to have direct contact with the floor so no heat is trapped in another layer. That can cause problems with longevity of the elements/cables etc.

This radiant floor heating looks like a good idea -- warm floor and not ceiling

    hvac1000 is right!
All membranes should be UNDER the radiant cables, whether for crack isolation or water proofing.
