    On F1 visa since 2002
    Hi,

    I entered US on F1 Visa in Aug'02. I was wondering what kind of tax return for 2007 I need to file, Resident alien or Non-Resident alien? Also am I suppose to pay FICA taxes for 2007. I am on OPT till Oct'08.

    You need to file as a resident alien and, yes, you ARE liable for FICA taxes for 2007.
