I have watched quite a few videos of plastic surgery being done,liposuctions,breast augmentations,face lifts etc.
It looks painful during and after the operation.

Waiting a week or so or even longer if my normal hairdresser is booked or not available.

But I think that's about it.

All those other methods involves pain and the great potential for something very terrible to go wrong.

To me, the most beautiful are those that allow themselves to age gracefully and naturally.

firm, I understand what you mean I often wonder, Why can't we be a society that embraces the way someone looks and still love them. It makes me sad to think you have to look a certain way to be valued or as valuable.
Cutting, clippping and sculpting can only get you so far, inner beauty will have to see you through to the end.

I view my wrinkles as laugh lines and my freckles as angel kisses. Yes, I wish my eyes didn't crinkle up when I smile and bring out the funny little lines, but it just reminds me that I've had more smiles than frowns...

So, when I look in the mirror, I don't see the negative parts of growing up, but the indelible marks that remind me of the blessings of my life.

If it is a serious medical condition, then I think cosmetic surgery is necessary. BUT to get fake breasts, liposuction in rear and lips etc is plain stupid and ugly to me.

You want to know the sad part? I read a poll taken by men and the question was 'Do you like women with fake breats? (and/or big breats)' and more then half said yes? Society. It makes me sick.

I agree with you BeautifulBrunette,medical needs are different.
They are sometimes a neccessity.zFor example burn victims needing skin grafts etc.
